The Sony E20XX (E2003, E2033) model number has been spotted in GFXBench , revealing an entry-level model powered by a MediaTek chipset that in many ways looks like the rumoured Xperia E4 (E2105 and E2115) that we’ve seen previously.
The Sony E20XX benchmark reveals a number of specifications including the fact that it will have a 4.6-inch (540 x 960) display, a MediaTek MT6752 chipset (1.5GHz quad-core processor and ARM Mali-T760 GPU), 8GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera and 1.9MP front-facing camera.
Rumoured specifications for the Xperia E4 (E2105 and E2115) include a 5-inch qHD (540 x 960) display and MediaTek MT6582 chipset with 1.3GHz quad-core processor and Mali-400 MP4 GPU. Other features include 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, a 5MP camera and 1.9 MP front-facing camera.
Therefore, apart from the display size and chipset, all other specs are the same. All of the above are pre-production so it would be no surprise if there were some small changes here and there. We could also be looking at a variant of the Xperia E4 here – perhaps even one running a different operating system. Firefox OS anyone?
Thanks to all that sent this in!
