Sony Philippines has given the first indicative date of when we can expect to see the Android Lollipop update to hit the Xperia Z. In a tweet sent earlier today, Sony Philippines said that the Xperia Z Lollipop update “will start rolling out by next week”.
This was further recently corroborated by XDA user gbil, who has a strong track record when it comes to future Xperia firmware updates. gbil says that the “actual release date is closer to end of NEXT week” (i.e. he is referring to the end of this week). Either way, when it does launch we’ll give you a heads-up on the blog.
