Sony Mobile has updated the Xperia Keyboard to build number 7.1.A.0.28, bringing with it a whole host of improvements. Sony now allows you to backup and sync via Google log-in and adds support to apply keyboard themes. Emoji’s for the 12-key keyboard has also been added as well as language support for Kyrgyz and Turkmen.
Other changes include activating caps lock by double-tapping the shift key and you now can no auto-update dictionaries over Wi-Fi only. There is the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements which includes an updated prediction engine and faster keyboard start-up time. The update is live via the Google Play Store or you can grab the APK below.
