Sony Mobile is expected to announce a pink version of the Xperia Z5 Premium according to a report from Digi-wo. The Pink Xperia Z5 Premium is due to be announced on 12 April 2016 and whilst it is unclear in terms of which regions it will arrive, the new handset will probably land in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China.
Earlier in the year, we saw Sony launch a Pink Xperia Z5, so it’s not too unsurprising to hear that the larger Xperia Z5 Premium may also get similar treatment. Sony may be doing this to boost sales of its Xperia Z5 devices, as the newer Xperia X Performance will not hit until later in the year.
Update: Sony Mobile Hong Kong has just confirmed that a new colour for the Xperia Z5 Premium is coming (Thanks Ambitious Man!)
