Sony Mobile has commenced an update to its flagship Xperia XZ model, moving the firmware number to build number from 39.0.A.1.250 to version 39.0.A.3.30. Sony has not made it clear what changes have been made in the latest update, although we can see that the latest November 2016 Google security patches have been included.
Some users have had issues over double tap to wake responsiveness, but it’s not yet clear if this has been improved in the latest update. We have included FTF firmware files for the new version below. If you have updated, please let us know your impressions in the comments below.
