Sony has updated the Xperia Home Beta to build number 10.2.A.2.10, adding a much-requested feature in the form of a grid-size option. The latest launcher allows you to select different grid sizes for your home screen including 3×4, 4×4, 4×5 and 5×5.
The new launcher now dynamically adapts the icon size, depending on the grid size chosen. This means that you can no longer manually change the size of icons, although you could just use an icon pack with smaller icons. Sony says that only an “extremely small percentage” actually bothered to change icon sizes. If you want to try the new launcher, head over to the Google+ Xperia Home Beta page to sign-up for updates.
