Sony is set to launch two new Xperia smartphones that will use the MediaTek Helio P20 MT6757 chipset, according to UAProf’s (user-agent profile) from Sony. The chipset combines a 2.3 GHz quad-core and 1.6 GHz quad-core and runs Mali-T880 graphics.
This new chip is set to adorn the Sony G3112 (G31XX), the model number of which has already leaked, as well as the Sony G3221 (G32XX). The UAProf highlights that the Sony G3112 will use a 720p display, whilst the Sony G3221 will use a 1080p display. There is little other detail revealed, but Sony is probably looking at MWC 2017 for a likely launch.
