The Sony Xperia L1 recently received its first firmware update, moving it from build number 43.0.A.3.39 to version 43.0.A.4.46. As you can tell from the small change in build number, this is not a huge update, but it does move the Android security patch from 5 April 2017 to 5 May 2017. The Android 7.0 Nougat firmware is currently live on all variants of the Xperia L1 (G3311, G3313) and L1 Dual (G3312).
The Xperia L1 is Sony’s 2017 entry level model, with a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, MediaTek MT6737T chipset, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, USB Type-C port, NFC and a 2620mAh battery.
