The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is the first and (currently) only smartphone packing a 4K HDR display. The HDR option has already been available on a few apps for the Xperia XZ Premium, including Amazon Video and Netflix, but today YouTube is also rolling out the HDR option for the handset.
We have received the option on our resident XZ Premium handset, giving options to choose HDR videos up to 4K resolution. It’s great to see a wider range of HDR content more easily attained, taking advantage of the tech inside Sony’s 4K flagship.
