Sony’s 3D Creator application was one of the highlights of IFA. It will feature on the upcoming Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, but also confirmed to arrive on the Xperia XZ Premium in a future update. The app allows you to 3D scan a person’s face or objects to produce a surprisingly accurate 3D image, which can even be 3D printed.
It’s perhaps no surprise to see that 3D Creator app has been extracted from the Xperia XZ1 firmware and modified to work on a number of Sony Xperia handsets, running Android Marshmallow and above. If you’re looking to give the app a try yourself, then head over to the XDA source link below.
