The official LineageOS 14.1 custom ROM is now available to download for the Sony Xperia Z5. LineageOS 14.1 is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and provides a close to stock experience, for those that don’t like the official Sony software. Hopefully, this is a good sign that the Xperia Z5 will receive official LineageOS 15, which is based on Android Oreo, especially as the handset won’t get any Oreo love officially from Sony.
