Sony’s Xperia Lounge app comes pre-installed on all Xperia phones, and showcases all that is new to Xperia customers including themes, tips, news, offers and competitions. Sony used to segment its customers into Gold and Silver memberships – Gold for those that bought flagships and Silver for everything else. Those with Gold would get exclusive offers or free themes.
Sony has now decided to scrap the Gold and Silver membership in the Xperia Lounge app, saying that it values “all of our Xperia customers”.
