We recently reported that Sony Mobile had temporarily suspended the Android 7.0 Nougat firmware update for the Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra, due to “inconsistencies related to the over-the-air delivery system”. We were told that the update would be kick-started again shortly, and we’re happy to report that the Nougat update is now live. Sony Mobile is rolling out slightly newer build numbers versus the previous firmware. Xperia XA users should be on the lookout for build number 33.3.A.0.131 (versus 33.3.A.0.127 previously), while Xperia XA Ultra owners will receive build number 36.1.A.0.182 (versus 36.1.A.0.179 previously).
