Xperia acro leaked, hits Japan in May/June

I wonder when a dual-core SE will be released, still waiting for one to buy.

It did seem pretty ridiculous that so many phones were released into this market without FeLiCa (NFC) or Infrared. Infrared is the most common way of exchanging contacts with people. Some people use FeLiCa to do so but that’s not very popular; That being said, FeLiCa is still important for this market since there are so many services built on FeLiCa (not just NFC payments).

AU launched with domestic market android phones but it took until 2011 before DoCoMo and Softbank released smartphones with the domestic market features that this market wanted.

I could do without the one-seg tuner although Japan is not the only country using it (It’s also used in South America)

As many articles are saying 2001 is the year of dual-core smartphones, I was hoping SE would have one by NOW !
I had great hopes for the Tegra 2 based LG Optimus 2X shown at CES, as it has just the right facilities and specs I want – BUT 2 recent reviews have pointed to weak volume and poor image clarity – sadly it sounds LG have slipped up on quality. I see the Xperia Arc has almost identical facilities specs I want – but sadly has only a 2nd gen 1 core CPU, and so my worry is, I will soon regret buying a 1 core CPU as most reviewers say there is a remarkable difference in browsing times between dual-core and 1 core phones; also, despite gmsarena stating its ‘available’ I have still to find proper reviews of retail version of the Arc.
