Two weeks ago the 4.0.A.2.368 firmware update for the new Sony Ericsson Xperia phones was released. The Xperia arc and Xperia neo had no problem updating to this new firmware version, but Xperia PLAY owners were left in the cold. However, SE has now started to release the update to Xperia PLAY owners.
This firmware version adds xLoud which boosts the external speaker volume as well as a landscape homescreen amongst other things. The update is out for generic UK handsets and we imagine it will hit other regions shortly. Check out SEUS or PC Companion for the update.
