Xperia neo L hands-on photos

in Hands On, Xperia Neo

Xperia neo LSony Mobile is set to launch the Xperia neo L in certain markets during Q3 2012. The handset looks reasonably attractive to our eyes – think of it as an Xperia PLAY without the slide-out joypad. The front face looks very similar with a 4-inch (480 x 854) display and includes four hard buttons as seen on the Xperia PLAY. Saying that though, the Xperia neo L is still fairly chunky at 12.8mm in thickness.

The main disappointment is that the Xperia neo L comes with 2011 Xperia specs (1GHz single-core processor, Adreno 205 graphics, 512MB RAM). However, this is likely to be reflected in the price and at least it will launch with Android 4.0 ICS. Taiwanese site ePrice went hands-on with the handset, you can check out some of their photos below. We think it looks rather fetching in white, what do you think?

What’s with this trend of releasing 4-inch phones with outdated/low-end specs and with ICS? Neo L, Optimus L7, Desire V, really weird.

To say truth , all 2011 line xperia s beautiful design. does it has hdmi out ?

I wish they would just stop this! Just refine the product line and stop releasing endless new junk models which dilute the NXT series. I genuinely thought we would see them go in a nice focussed direction when the NXT phones came out. Do they really need to have 10+ different phones in the line up?

    Its are marketing strategy…

This phone is not part of the NXT series. Only S, P and U are.

    ‘does it has’?!

  • DoucheyTuesday

Still with SE branding on their parts?! And it resembles a cross between the HTC One X and the Play, doesn’t it? Anyway, ICS is so much better than Gingerbread, a buyer will have something almost on a par with what an NXT owner has, for a little while. A good secondary phone, otherwise.

I hate the 2011 design. idk y but I dont like the arch design. I feel the new design is way sleeker.
