Sony Mobile India has given the first proper indication of when we can expect the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware update for the Sony Xperia P. They confirmed that the update will arrive between Sunday 19 August to Saturday 25 August 2012. We expected it during the second-half of August, so this seems to tally with that. Just under a couple of weeks to wait now.
