Sony Xperia TX = LT29i ‘Hayabusa’

As the pictures from ive seen xperia T, it looks awefull, and the US getting metall body and europe getting plastic why ? Are they planning on loosing customers?

As for me i have myself an xperia P who i LOVE , upgrading to Xperia TX ( hayabusa ) when that comes to europe

Seriously Sony, just release less phones and focus on making your product ranges more appealing to consumers. I can’t keep track of which model is out right now.

There’s a big advertising campaign for the Acro S here in Hong Kong right now, but I’m still waiting for the TX.

After having my Neo buttons replaced twice I really want to try software buttons =)

3 S4 devices i see no point?

So, errr… Xperia TX  is an international GX? I’m officially lost now -_-’

The problem is not Sony using the same SoC for all three (and even more to come) models, but that those phones are too similar, they don’t differentiate enough from each other and aren’t really competitive in the high-end segment. Sony had to release those Snapdragon S4 phones at the beginning of this year and not in Q4 2012, which is imo just too late for such speced devices. Nobody needs a Quad Core CPU in his smartphone but sadly the majority of people willing to pay for an expensive high-end phone are looking for that hardware. Sony badly needs a spec-monster device, just to get people start talking about Sony again and getting some attention by media. Sony builds the most beautiful devices and even their custom Android UI looks the best, but hardware-vise they kinda s*ck. They are delivering the image sensor of the Iphone, which makes quite decent pictures, but Sony isn’t able to produce the same image quality with their Xperia range of devices and considering their long year work in the camera industry this is quite embarrassing. And since we know that Sony is indeed able to develop phones with superb image quality (just take SE K800i, Satio..) it’s even more unintelligible why Sony isn’t the King of Android camera phones?!

Sony please sort yourself out ASAP! We don’t need 20 handsets a year with confusing names etc! Just release 5-6 quality handsets a year with clear and distinct naming scheme. Also larger batteries are a must as well as a top quality camera. Use the latest SOC like S4 pro,Tegra 3+ and Novathor 9600! Can Xperia blog pass our messages on to Sony???

 Agree. Maybe not to kill Xperia line (name is quite catchy), but to completely revamp Xperia strategy and make clear distinction between devices. At present, you need to dig deep into specification sheet to see which device is “flagship”, they all are look-alike, even for us here is quite complicated to make clear separation, can you imagine headache for regular users? Plus don’t forget, more devices = slower upgrade time to new Android OS.
