Xperia TL with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean shown off on video

Yesterday we reported on Jelly Bean screenshots leaking for the Sony Xperia T (LT30p) and Xperia TL (LT30at). These are from a development version of the firmware so therefore it’s unlikely we’ll see it leak to allow people to download. If you want to know what improvements to expect, then you may want to check out the video below (in Vietnamese). It shows Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean running on the Xperia TL (LT30at).

One of the big improvements is the new launcher (that was leaked yesterday). Apart from that, we noticed a new lock screen and some new software features from the Xperia V such as Superior Auto mode on the camera and ClearAudio+ mode for better audio quality. Obviously as the firmware is still in development, things may change before the final release, but it’s all shaping up nicely so far.

Why do I have that feeling that there are no big differences between this & the ICS on xpwria V or T?! I flashed a custom ROM called XT experience on my XS & it looka exactly the same with same smoothness….hope that won’t be everything about it cuz that would be a great disappointment especially when ur gonna what wait for months to get nothing at the end except new numbers on the phone info.

Why the Camera is 12 MP on video?

Because he is using Superior Auto mode which limits the available resolution to 12MP. On Normal mode, you would be able to use 13MP.

Looks good,still the lockscreen is kinda a downgrade from ics lockscreen since shortcuts cannot be modified.New set of wallpapers looks awesome tho,will be greatful if someone can leak the wallpaper set

I really hope the Xperia S will get all of the Xperia T and Xperia V improvements to both the camera and settings once Jelly Bean arrives. I could really use those small apps on my Xperia S!

Everything is perfect , only one thing if Xperia V ( 4.0.4 ICS ) features is landing to T and TL ,then what will recieved Xperia V when upgraded to 4.1.2 ? ( features )

absolutely. I am curious as to why the delay – if it’s not for something other than a really worthwhile update.

if they say we have a ton of models to update and worldwide release blah blah – they have lost the plot. will wait and see, 2 more months for sony to redeem themselves. really expcted sony to bring JB to XT within a month as they had promised “soon”, 4 months after its release is almost unacceptable, unless they surprise with a great update
