CyanogenMod has announced that new camera features will be heading to CM10.1 builds for selected Sony Xperia devices. It looks like these features will be introduced to bring the camera functionality more on par with Sony’s stock firmware.
These features include the following: HDR (photos and video), ISO modes, scene modes, shutter speed as well as Sony’s image/video stabilisation. Sounds like some great additions to CM10.1 for those who prefer a close-to-Android experience. Selected Xperia handsets that will get these CM10.1 additions include the Xperia T, Xperia V, Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and the Xperia Tablet Z. There’s currently no timeline on when these new camera features will hit CM10.1.
