Sony-Xperia-E4Sony has formally unveiled the Xperia E4 (E2104, E2105) and Xperia E4 Dual (E2114, E2115, E2124) ahead of the MWC tradeshow. The handset is largely as previously rumoured, arriving with a 5-inch qHD (540 x 960) IPS display, a MediaTek MT6582 chipset (1.3GHz quad-core processor and ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU).

Other specs include 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage (plus microSD card), 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera, and a 2300mAh embedded battery which Sony says has a two-day battery life. It is also the first Sony Xperia handset we are aware of to support Bluetooth 4.1.

The Xperia E4 has dimensions of 137 x 74.6 x 10.5mm and weight of 144 grams. The Xperia E4 will launch with Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The phone will be available in black and white colours when it arrives in mid-February 2015.
