Serial leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer who has a credible track record of leaks over at nowhereelse.fr recently supposedly revealed the dimensions of the Xperia Z4, Sony’s next flagship smartphone. What is interesting is that if the dimensions turn out to be true, they are virtually identical to that of the Xperia Z3.
According to his leak channel, @OnLeaks, the Xperia Z4 will have dimensions of 146.3 x 71.9 x 7.2mm. This compares to the Xperia Z3 that has dimensions of 146 x 72 x 7.3mm. So we are looking at a marginally thinner handset, but pretty much the same otherwise.
What this also tells us though is that expect the design to be very similar, something that has already been given away by the recent chassis leaks. Obviously there could be a weight difference between models, our sources suggest that Sony is targeting a weight of around 140 grams (the Xperia Z3 weighs 152g). We’ll bring you further info on the Xperia Z4 as soon as we have it.
