Sony Xperia M5 Unboxing_5The Sony Xperia M5 is slowly appearing in a number of regions, as we reported yesterday. If you want to get an idea of the packaging and box contents then check out the unboxing pics below. This is of the white Xperia M5 (E5653) and as with most Xperia models there are few extras included in the box. Hopefully, we’ll see it see a wider release of the Xperia M5 as we know many are keeping a keen eye on where it lands.

I thought it would scored 40k or higher :(
    Waiting for the review :(

  • Ambitious Man

    Yes. 40k!

I really like the design of Sony boxes BUT…don’t you think the design of the M5 box is counter-intuitive?
I mean, it opens in the back and has the phone exposed right there…and the back is precisely the part of a box people normally lay first on a table. I wonder if it can’t contribute to accidentally cracked screens before even opening…

I dunno, maybe it’s just me. I think Sony could have gone with a “safer” design solution. That said, I normally don’t like gold phones but these Sony phones in gold all look really nice.

  • Arch9

You shouldn’t expect that on mediatek processor, but its just a benchmark though.

  • Mehdi prm

    what news about Z1 ?!!
battery on 5.0.2 is shit. TNX Sony team

  • Simon Setyadarma

How could you get that high? Lol

  • Simon Setyadarma

But c’mon, even tho MTK isn’t best but 36k? Z Ultra could do it tho…
Yes yes I know it is midrange phone, but Helio X10 shouldn’t be that bad.

  • Kunal Shukla

i thought it would score much better on Antutu. My Z score is 30K+ after lollipop update.

This phone would’ve been beautiful if the bezels were smaller.

  • Doubleyoupee

It would look exactly like my Xperia ZL…

  • Svnjay

    Lol, not even close.

  • Geesha Gehan Anurad

haha design of the box is good but this thing allways reminds me my Xperia U.. Same old box again.. :D

  • Snorky112

yea but it’s a MediaShittyTek processor

  • lbwc

He’s using Antutu 64 bit vs the lower benchmark is not?

  • Is that the rapid charger plug? Or just ordinary. Mine looks little different.

  • Eddy Cen

    i agree with u svnjay

  • Eddy Cen

i think sony gave a wrong name for this phone, it should be a part of xperia c family not m because of a mediatek.

  • Svnjay

    Thanks :)

  • Saudagar Unta

    damn… charger only 850mAh…

  • Arch9

That’s why mtk isn’t the best, they can’t even optimize their SoC & even the older Qualcomm flagship SoC still better than their new flagship SoC.

  • Musadiqkhan

    Somewhat similar to Xperia Z3

  • Alvin

The gold one is amazingly beautiful. But it is so rough to decide between this and z5c

  • Alvin

Benchmark not depends on the phone by itself, but also by the person who uses it and every conditions of thephone, luck, and how the cpu and gpu works that time. Because it works just like human movements, it is not always the same, it always changes everytime.

  • Alvin

    You catched him wrong, mate:)

But yeah, it would be so beautiful if it has smaller bezels and edge to edge display like c5 (imo)

  • Alvin

Dont expect much from mediatek powered smart devices on graphics, mate

  • Kunal Shukla

isn’t intel processor a good alternative

  • Alvin

I dont know, all processors have goods and bads

  • devx fred

    bezel sucks

  • Midhun Manohar

The box looks exactly as the Xperia SP

  • ????? ????

    Lovely powerful phone.
