A small firmware update has begun to roll out for the Sony Xperia Z, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z. The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop firmware update has build number 10.7.A.0.228 (versus 10.7.A.0.222 currently) and strangely leaves the handset exposed to the Stagefright exploit. Few other key changes have been noted.
The update is currently live in single regions for the LTE variants of the Xperia Z (C6603), Xperia ZR (C5503) and Xperia Tablet Z (SGP321).
