Android Market gets radical redesign [Video]

Android MarketGoogle has announced a brand new design of the Android Market, which is perhaps the biggest change since Android launched. The new version is rolling out over the next few weeks and is available to phones running Android 2.2 or higher (which includes all of the recent Xperia smartphones).

Those in the US will also be getting a few extras in terms of the Books and Video apps service. Google says that the new Market is faster and easier to discover apps. However, you don’t have to wait till it hits your handset as you can download the apk here. If you want to get a clearer idea as to how the new Market shapes up, check out the video below.
