The Sony Xperia U software was certified by the PTCRB last week, not surprising considering that the phone has already been released in some regions in the last few days. The latest software certified is 6.0.B.1.536 (same as the Xperia sola), the Xperia P has some later software (6.0.B.1.565).
These software versions are not the global releases, which are normally denoted by 6.0.A.X.XXX rather than 6.0.B.X.XXX. Therefore it still may be at least a few weeks before these handsets are launched outside of Asia.
