A new Sony Xperia handset leaked earlier today and notably it seems to be the first model without the Sony Ericsson liquid energy logo ball on the back. The source of the leak claims the handset is the Sony ST26i, although given that we’ve already heard about the ST27i, we’ll wait for verification on the model number.
PhoneArena claims that the handset will have a 4-inch qHD display, 1GHz NovaThor U8500 chipset, 512MB RAM and 8GB internal storage. This may end up being the case, but it places the specs too close to the Xperia P to be realistic in our view. The handset has capacitive buttons at the front instead of the on-screen buttons of the Xperia GX and Xperia SX. Click through for a larger image and let us know what you think.
