The Sony Xperia A (SO-04E) firmware update to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean has started to roll out with Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo. The phone is one of the biggest recent successes in Japan’s smartphone market, outselling the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The new update to build version 10.3.1.B.0.224 brings a number of new features including native compatibility with DUALSHOCK 3, improved Small Apps, a preview function added to the camera app and transparent UI in status bar and menu buttons.
