Japanese operators AU by KDDI and NTT DoCoMo have announced the launch dates for the Xperia Z1. AU by KDDI will launch the Xperia Z1 (SOL23) nationwide on Wednesday 23 October. The QX10 will also be on sale at the same time.
NTT DoCoMo plans to start selling the Xperia Z1 (SO-01F) a day later on Thursday 24 October. The Japanese Xperia Z1 comes with a few extra goodies compared to the global release including a 32GB ROM (versus 16GB for the global version), an Infrared port as well as One-Seg/Full-Seg support.
