Generally speaking, Sony does not make its own cases for its handsets unless they serve a specific purpose, such as the CP12 Power Cover for the Xperia Z Ultra which adds power and includes an integrated stylus. Sony obviously felt they needed to do something similar for the Xperia T2 Ultra by creating the SCR14 Style Cover Stand, although it adds very little in comparison to the CP12.
The Style Cover Stand SCR14 is a booklet-style protective case for the Xperia T2 Ultra, which wakes the device when you flip open the cover and puts it to sleep once the cover is closed. The case can also be used as a desk stand to consume media at various viewing angles. The case will add 71g of weight to the handset. Pricing details are unknown at this stage.
