There aren’t too many smartphones that come with front-facing stereo speakers, It was one of the key marketing highlights of the HTC One and now Sony also has brought stereo speakers to its latest Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet flagship devices.
HTC dubbed its speaker system BoomSound, which it claimed offered sharper and richer sound through HTC’s exclusive built-in amplifiers via the dual frontal speakers. The audio experience of both phones are compared in the video below, although be mindful this is not a definitive test as it was conducted in the noisy halls at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week.
