Sony Xperia SP’s bug-fixing update (12.1.A.1.192) delayed by a month?

xl_Sony-Xperia-SP-624We recently reported on the upcoming bug-fixing Android 4.3 firmware update for the Xperia SP, which French carrier SFR recently approved and even said it would be released imminently. Well the firmware didn’t roll out and SFR has given an update on the situation.

SFR says that Sony has delayed the release by a month from 21 March to 21 April. This is due to a problem identified by Sony. We don’t know whether this same firmware will end up releasing in a month or whether Sony will certify a new update. We’ll keep you posted with any further developments.
