xperia-m-dual-smartphoneSony India has confirmed that the Xperia M2 dual will launch on the 25 April 2014 with a recommended price of Rs. 21,990 (£216, €263, $363). The 3G-only Xperia M2 dual will launch across all Sony Centers, Xperia Flagship stores and other retailers in all three colours (black, purple and white).

The Xperia M2 has a 4.8-inch qHD (540 x 960) display and 1.2GHz quad-core processor with Adreno 305 graphics (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 chipset). Other features include 1GB RAM, 8MP Exmor RS camera, 8GB storage (5GB usable), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and a 2300mAh battery. Xperia M2 owners will also be able to download three movies via the Xperia Lounge app.

The Xperia M2 dual will allow users to set up both SIM cards independently with custom ring tones and easily choose between SIMs before making calls or sending texts. Sony’s dual SIM management technology means that users can keep both SIMs active and never miss a call, even when talking on one of them.

Thanks Nishanth!
