Earlier this week, the Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition saw a $200 price cut to $449 in the United States. Well now the unlocked non-GPe version of the handset has also seen a hefty price cut. The Sony Store website has slashed the price from $679.99 to $449.99. This is the LTE model (C6806) of the handset. Strangely, the HSPA+ version (C6802) is still $629.99, so this sounds like a great deal. This puts the Xperia Z Ultra model in the same price as the Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition, so you can decide which software version you’d prefer – either stock Sony or native Android.
