Rumours have been swirling for a while now that Verizon will pick up the Xperia Z2, not least due to a number of press images of a Verizon-branded Xperia Z2 leaked by Sony itself. Today’s Verizon Xperia Z2 rumour comes from a leaked screenshot allegedly showing that training for the Xperia Z2 is now available to Verizon staff.
The screenshot reveals the following text: “Device Training: Sony Xperia Z2 for Indirect Online Course (VZWIndrct68906)“. Assuming this is true, then the fact that Verizon is ready to start training reps means that the official launch can’t be too much longer. We’ll let you know if anything comes of this.
Update: PhoneArena has received word that this screenshot relates to the Xperia Z2 Tablet and NOTE the Xperia Z2.
