Sony Mobile recently announced launch details for the new Xperia Z3 series in Japan. As well as support from carriers NTT DoCoMo and au by KDDI, Sony has managed to get support from SoftBank Mobile for the first time when it comes to an Xperia device. This is great news and shows that Sony has been working hard to get broader carrier support across various regions.
The Xperia Z3 will be available across all three carriers mentioned above and will sport 32GB of internal storage over the international models. The handset will also be available in all four colours (Black, White, Copper and Silver Green). The Xperia Z3 Compact will be available from DoCoMo only and will come with the same 16GB internal storage as seen in the international model. Once again it will be available in four colours (Black, White, Green and Orange). The devices will start shipping from mid-October, depending on carrier.
Sony has also announced that it will be selling the Wi-Fi edition of the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact from early November. The tablet will be available in both 16GB and 32GB capacities in black and white colours. See all details below.
