Yesterday, we saw build number 23.1.A.1.28 certified by the PTCRB for the Xperia Z2 series. Today the same build number has been certified for the Xperia Z3 series including the Xperia Z3 (D6603, D6653), Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803, D5833) and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact (SGP621, SGP641). As previously mentioned, given that the firmware format has moved from 23.1.A.0 to 23.1.A.1 should signify a reasonable update, although whether this is Android 5.1 or not we’ll have to wait and see.
