New update (23.4.A.0.580) starts seeding for Xperia Z2, Z3 and Z3 Compact

A new firmware update with build number 23.4.A.0.580 has started to roll for select European carriers on the Xperia Z2 (D6503 only), Xperia Z3 (D6603 only) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803 only). The update includes a fix for the Stagefright exploit we reported on last week.

So far it is only live for Three Austria and Vodafone Spain/UK. It is unclear whether this is a carrier-specific update or whether availability will expand to other regions in the coming days. If you’ve downloaded the update, let us know if you’ve noticed any other changes.
