Xperia XZs Dual has a hybrid SIM tray

Sony Mobile started to use a hybrid SIM tray for its dual SIM Xperia models in its 2016 devices. This meant that if you wanted to install a microSD memory card in your phone, then you could only use one SIM card instead of two – or, if you need to use two SIM cards, then you cannot use a memory card.

This is unlike the dual sim Xperia models from before 2015, which allowed you to use two SIM cards, as well as a micro SD card. Well, if you were hoping that Sony might change this for its 2017 models, then the omens don’t look great. We can confirm that the Xperia XZs Dual will also use the hybrid SIM tray, as you can see from the pics below. There is still a chance we could see a proper dual SIM + memory card option in other Xperia models this year, but don’t get your hopes up.
