Twitter leaker extraordinaire Evan Blass (@evleaks) has revealed a render of Sony Mobile’s latest flagship, which he has dubbed the ‘Xperia 1’. The picture shows a handset with a triple rear camera, and the return of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Evan is also implying that the device will sport a 4K HDR OLED display.
However, one of the best bits is the return of a Purple-coloured Xperia flagship, evoking memories of the original Xperia Z. It’s also great to see Sony returning to a design language similar to older devices, and one that should resonate much better with fans compared to the 2018 flagship Xperia models. What do you think of this latest leak? Do you like the design? We’d love to hear your comments below.

Evan Blass also confirmed Sony’s new Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus mid-rangers. These are the same images of the ones we have already seen and also confirm Sony’s new naming scheme. They show phones that adopt the 21:9 CinemaWide display, as well as a dual rear camera setup.
