Xperia J (ST26i) previewed ahead of release

Russian site Mobile-Review must be a thorn in the side of Sony Mobile. They have revealed and extensively previewed a number of Xperia (prototype) handsets ahead of their official announcements. They have done it again with the Sony Xperia J (ST26i), showing off the handset from every angle. The design looks nice to our eyes for what is a sub mid-range handset. I really don’t like the way mobile review phrased their words. It felt like the yard stick that they used to preview this phone was for flagship devices. Given that this unannounced Xperia J is an entry to mid level device.

this phone should be using qualcomm S3 proc instead of old S1 proc because with the phone size 4″, this could be potential upgrade for xperia neo v…design is quite nice and simple actually which I like.

So many announcement but when Sony is going to announce their first quad-core with 4.7″ or 4.8″ smartphone? Plus, when they are going to announce the availability of Jelly Bean OS for their current flagship Sony Xperia S? Come on Sony, you are one year behind HTC and Samsung releasing smartphones. Don’t you see the success story of Galaxy S3 quad-core with 4.8″ screen sold millions unit in a week time?

Following Sony’s nomenculture, next year flagship phone is gonna be named something like ‘Xperia L’ or Xperia Lalua I came to this conclusion after noticing their previous year phone following i.e. Xperia arc -> Xperia arc S -> Xperia S and now Xperia SL….this clearly tells next year sony phone is gonna be named from ‘L’. Who is up for Lalua???

argh, i had xperia s, and then got it replaced with ion, and then i want either hayabusa or mint, but now they are planning to release xperia nexus, when will it ever stop :p i just can’t get enough of sony!
