Sony Mobile Australia confirms Xperia Z pricing at A$749

Sony Mobile Australia has just confirmed on its Facebook page that the Xperia Z “will be A$749 [£490, €591, $790] direct from Sony Centres and will be available in black, white and purple.” It went on to say that “further carrier information as well as price plans will be announced soon.” Release timelines weren’t given, but this is the first direct information we’ve had on pricing. Currency conversion rates and import taxes need to be factored in. Nothing scales perfectly. In England we end up paying £529 for devices that cost only $599 (£300) in America.

That’s right, recommended Retail Price will always be the maximum. It should be cheaper through other sources like eBay etc….

That’s cheap like the iphone cost you 400 for the apple logo, the has 5 inch, hd screen 100 more ppi and has a NFC and is not iOS
