The Sony (Ericsson) LT22i ‘Nypon’ smartphone has made an appearance in the NenaMark benchmark, just a day after MT27i Pepper. It scored 24.00 on average in NenaMark2, which compares to 30.70 for the Xperia S (LT26i).
The details confirm the qHD (540 x 960) resolution of the handset and likelihood of ST-Ericsson NovaThor U8500 chipset. The processor speed is listed as 1.0GHz, whilst the GPU is the ARM Mali-400 MP, both corresponding with the U8500 chipset. We expect a formal announcement of the Sony LT22i Nypon at the MWC show at the end of next month.
