A new cloud storage was recently launched offering 5GB free and no we’re not talking about Google Drive. Sony has launched PlayMemories Online, which will store and give access to your photos and HD videos on any device. Once in the cloud the photos and videos can be played on any PC, PlayStation 3, Bravia TV, S-Frame digital photo frame as well as your smartphone or tablet.
Photos and videos can also be edited using the PlayMemories Home application on your PC or the PlayMemories Studio on the PlayStation 3. Sony also allows you to privately share your content by sending links to friends and families. Xperia or Sony Tablet users can download the free PlayMemories Online app which will allow direct uploads from the handset. The service is currently available in UK, France and Germany. The app will be available to all Android and iOS users.
