There is a good chance that the Sony Xperia Tablet Z will see a formal western announcement at MWC, which starts on Monday. We previously revealed that the tablet has the codename ‘Pollux’ and C690X model number. We now understand that the exact model number will be C6907.
If you’re wondering what the ‘7’ stands for, it means that this will be a Wi-Fi only model, rather than sporting LTE that the Japanese model has. At this stage we don’t know if a LTE-enabled Xperia Tablet Z is planned for a western release, hopefully we’ll hear more next week.
