FES WatchRemember the e-paper FES Watch that was developed by Sony’s “First Flight” crowdfunding platform? Well it looks like Sony is finally ready to commercialise the product, with Sony Japan announcing that it expects to start retail sales of the “FES Watch” from 21 November 2015. Initially the watch will be on sale at select retailers, such as the MoMA Design Store. before widening distribution in December. Pre-orders for the watch are available at the above outlet from today.

The FES Watch adopts e-paper in its dial and strap to create 24 different designs that should suit all moods and tastes. The FES Watch is more directed at fashion than those living on the cutting edge of hardware specs. The FES Watch will retail for 29,700 yen (including tax) which relates to just under $245.
