Sony Mobile is expected to announce two flagship devices – the Xperia XZ1 (G84XX) and Xperia XZ1 Compact (G83XX) – along with a mid-range device (G34XX) with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor at its IFA 2017 press conference tomorrow. While we haven’t seen any press pics of its mid-ranger, we have already seen a lot of the Xperia XZ1 and the XZ1 Compact previously. However, if that’s not enough, then you can check out a few more pics below of Sony’s upcoming flagships.
Roland Quandt, who previously revealed some images of the Xperia XZ1, has given some additional details on specs of the Xperia XZ1. This includes 7.4mm thickness (XZs is 8.1mm), weight of 156 grams, a 5.2-inch 1080p HDR display and, disappointingly, a 2700mAh battery (XZs has a 2900 mAh battery). Maybe Sony feels that the optimisations brought by the Snapdragon 835 chipset, allow it to use a smaller battery, but we certainly wouldn’t have minded extra thickness for a beefier battery. We’ll bring you the full details tomorrow.
